BECOME A P4H ADVOCATE

We are looking for 50 people in the month of November to become P4H Advocates by giving $100/month. This monthly support will directly support the operations of our School Quality Assurance program and go towards things such as materials, trainer salaries, transportation, etc. Through this program, we equip teachers with student-centered strategies on foundational learning theories, social-emotional learning, anti-gang curriculum, leadership, ethics, and more!

You can partner with us to continue creating lasting change in Haiti – one teacher, one classroom, and one student at a time.

TRANSFORMING Haiti’s CLASSROOMS

We rely on the generosity of world-changers like you to continue transforming classrooms in Haiti through teacher training.

Every week, our team is training and coaching Haitian educators on student-centered practices. There has never been a more crucial time to support quality education in Haiti, and we want to invite you to be a part of this work with us! Partner with P4H to train teachers by making a one-time or monthly donation.

BUILDING CANALS & BRIDGES

Your donation will support community-led building projects for canals, bridges, and other infrastructures needed across Haiti.

All donations from this page are overseen by Dr. Bertrhude Albert and her team at P4H Global.

Kanal yo pap kanpe!

“Today we build a canal, but tomorrow we will build up our infrastructure, we’ll build up our people, we’ll build up our nation.” - Dr. Bertrhude Albert

Helping Displaced families Fleeing Insecurity in Haiti

Insecurity across Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince, continues to rise. Over the course of just 4 days in November 2024, more than 20,000 Haitians were displaced. This scale of displacement is alarming and leaves so many Haitians without basic necessities like food, clean water, and shelter.

P4H will be collecting funds to support displaced families in the capital and in Cap-Haitien. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help families in Port-au-Prince and in Cap-Haitien (click the donate button below for a detailed breakdown of the project budget breakdown). While $100 isn’t enough to cover all their needs, it is enough to show them that they aren’t alone. Will you consider sponsoring a family or two?

Helping Haitians at the D.R. Border

Currently, Haitians are undergoing mass deportations from the Dominican Republic. Many of them have experienced intense treatment in the D.R. and are coming without anything to their name, some injured, some even without shoes. This situation has created a humanitarian crisis with urgent needs at the Haiti-D.R. border in Wanament.

Donate here to help assist recently deported Haitians meet their current needs and get to their families throughout Haiti.

Special Project reports

Since September 2023, you have given to the construction of the canal in Ouanaminthe and beyond. We have overseen the purchase of supplies and have personally given the volunteer canal workers financial gifts to help encourage them in this important work.

Please check out our detailed breakdown of costs to understand what you are helping to fund!

*This report will be updated regularly to include expenses for future purchases with all canal projects.

P4H Advocate Stories

We asked a few of our monthly, P4H Advocates why they decided to partner with P4H Global through consistent, financial giving. Here are their stories!

Darren & Danessa

We chose to be P4H Advocates because we wanted to invest and donate to an organization that is making a sincere and effective change in Haiti. P4H is an organization that we wholeheartedly trust to find the needs of the Haitian people from the source, the actual Haitian people, and build/execute programs to bring about those needs sustainably. We have seen the evolution of the organization since 2011 and it has only been improving and empowering Haitians to rise up.

I partner with P4H because I wholeheartedly believe that this organization is going to continue making positive, impactful, and sustainable changes in any country blessed enough with their presence. I’ve historically resisted giving to organizations, especially those who claimed to provide help for the people in my parents’ land of Haiti, since they all seemed to fall short, and I couldn’t ever tell where my funds were actually going. This all changed once I joined the P4H family and fell in love with their model of sustainable development and redefining aid. Rather than perpetuating systems of dependency, P4H actively fosters self-empowerment and dignity amongst the people they serve. Thus I continue to support theses efforts through my giving and hope to see this organization extend their reach even further.

Mark & Grace

I believe in what P4H is trying to achieve - as a teacher and administrator, I believe that development is best achieved when you teach someone rather than do for them. I began to support P4H when the first teacher's conference was in its planning stages. I believe in P4H's professional development- train the trainers. Sustainability makes a greater impact! If you train the trainers, the impact is multiplied by the number of attendees. Do the math - how many are impacted each time P4H has had any type of conference? The fact that my sister is one of its co-founders, is simply icing on the cake. The question is not "Why do I financially support P4H?" but rather, "Why NOT financially support P4H?"

Ryan & Cristina

We love giving to P4H because we know our support empowers locals to be the change that God designed them to be. We know each person was created with purpose, and we want to be conscious of enabling that purpose to thrive, instead of giving only to feel better about ourselves “doing something.” Through the years, P4H has always pushed the boundaries of partnership to give more and more local authority in the decision making, and we are so excited to see what the long-term impact of this purposeful investment will be. We are sure the best is yet to come.
